I will support our teachers and all that they have now. I support some monies going to charter schools, but if they are being built as a way of funding private schools(schools that will call themselves charter) then a hard look needs to take place. We need to be able to help the immigrant by streamlining the process to becoming a citizen

Health care is a major topic and reform is a need. However I believe that reform needs to be made at the level we experience it. Cost, insurance over the years has increased to a point most indivuals cannot afford it. The very care we receive has continually gone up and until we can figure out a way to curb these costs true reform will not happen.

Education is a priority for me. I believe in a public education. I know that there are other avenues out there to increase the funding of our public education system. I also believe that if we are to move forward from the steps that have been already made, we need to talk to the front line teachers, parents, teachers reps., and school officals collectively. Utah families, they need to have a better since of security, a fair wage. We can be a top spot for corperations but we can no longer forget the Utah worker. We must support them all.
